Orlando City might be sold to a family that already has a purple team. The Wilf family are reportedly in talks about potentially buying the Lions. But will they also buy the Pride? Exploria Stadium? We aren’t sure just yet, but we’re keeping an eye on things. The club released its new ‘Thick N Thin’ kits and we like some things about it and dislike others.

We discuss why we think Daryl Dike will return to Orlando after his season in England, what it means if he doesn’t, and why it’s actually a positive thing to have European teams interested in OCSC players. We’re keeping our eyes on Barnsley’s remaining games and we’re not ready to panic.

The Orlando Pride fell 1-0 to Kansas City in the team’s preseason opener and we want to know why it’s mid-March and we still don’t know what to call that team. We have suggestions. Also, we enjoy barbecue.

The NWSL Challenge Cup schedule is out and we tell you what we like and don’t like about that as well. The Pride don’t have the best schedule from a club standpoint with both of their home games during the midweek, but at least they’re on national television twice. Orlando will also allow fans into the stands for both the Challenge Cup and the NWSL regular season, so after a year without being able to go see Marta in person, you’ll get your chance.

This week’s mailbag had questions about Orlando City license plates, the Lions’ new kit and its price tag, whether the club can win some trophies in 2021, and what we thought of WandaVision. We try not to spoil things. If there’s anything — and we do mean anything —you want us to address on next show, just ask by tweeting it to us at @TheManeLand with the hashtag #AskTMLPC.

That’s all for this week.

Stay safe and enjoy the show!

28:48 - The Pride played a preseason match, the NWSL Challenge Cup schedule is out, and fans can watch the team in person in 2021.

43:40 - Our listeners had questions about Orlando City’s new kit, license plates, WandaVision, and silverware.
