When Nani’s penalty sent Kenneth Vermeer the wrong way and settled in the back of the net, Orlando City fans everywhere erupted. The Lions had knocked off LAFC and were through to the semifinal round of the MLS is Back Tournament. That moment is now on a really cool shirt.

He’s our captain, our Designated Player, and the fiery spirit of Orlando City on the pitch. His penalty pushed the Lions past LAFC and into the MLS is Back semifinals. So it’s about time we brought you a shirt that captures the excitement Nani brings to Orlando City fans week in and week out. We can now do that, thanks to BreakingT’s line of MLSPA licensed clothing.

This shirt captures Nani’s iconic post-penalty celebration after his spot kick knocked LAFC out of the competition and pushed the Lions into the final four. The captain joyfully sprinted down the field to his teammates after his winning kick, with his hand to his ear.

“When you score a goal, you have to celebrate,” Nani said after the match. “When you win a game, you have to celebrate with your teammates, that’s what happened.”

When players put their hand up to their ear, like Nani did in his celebration, it means he wants to hear you. Right now it’s difficult to let him hear us, but when soccer returns to the stadium, at least we’ll have a way to show Nani our appreciation.

Slaying one of Major League Soccer’s most lethal dragons is worthy of remembrance and the good folks over at BreakingT have provided a shirt that captures the moment well. Pick yours up today, here:
