Look, Major League Soccer has tried to force a couple of rivalries on us in the past, but it seems like this Orlando City-Inter Miami CF thing might just become one. The Lions showed that Florida is purple on the pitch Wednesday night against Miami, coming from behind in dramatic fashion to win it 2-1 with a 97th-minute Nani goal.

Obviously it had to be Nani and obviously it had to be deep in stoppage time. That’s how rivalries start — with a gut punch. The captain delivered that gut punch to Miami’s players and fans near the end of 100 minutes of soccer to kick off the MLS is Back Tournament.
