It’s been a jam-packed week since we last recorded one of these things and maybe we should start doing mini episodes on weeks like this. However, for Episode 173, we’re talking about a lot of stuff, including the MLS All-Star Game here in Orlando. It was a great night out at Exploria Stadium (especially for Atletico Madrid) but overall the city turned up and made it a night to remember.
Plus, Orlando City played two teams this week that the Lions had never previously beaten. They handled FC Dallas on Saturday night but couldn’t pull off the upset on Tuesday against Atlanta United in the U.S. Open Cup semifinal. The magic of the Cup ended for Orlando but it was a good run in this year’s competition. We’ve got our breakdowns of both games and our Man of the Match picks. Don’t blink or you’ll miss this week’s OCB minute right after that.
Some awful news surfaced this week about Orlando Pride defender Toni Pressley, as she was diagnosed with breast cancer. We’re all behind Toni and she’s just the kind of person who can win this battle. Her Pride teammates are preparing for the Houston Dash with heavy hearts and without Alex Morgan, who will miss at least one more match with her knee injury. The USWNT was able to win Saturday night without her so hopefully the Pride can do the same.
Our mailbag has a lot of questions about Dom Dwyer and also some fun ones about movies with surprise endings and our five favorite Lions of all time. Plus, we give you our key match-ups and final score predictions for the Lions’ trip to play Toronto FC this Saturday.

Here’s how show No. 173 went down:
0:15 - The All-Star Game went well (not for the MLS All-Stars), and the Lions beat one of the two teams they played this week but had never previously beaten.
36:44 - Awful news for Toni Pressley, the Pride get set for Houston without Alex Morgan, and the USWNT kicked off the Victory Tour right.
47:20 - We answer our listeners’ questions and give our key match-ups and predictions for Saturday’s game at Toronto FC.
