An album of images from the Pride’s 1-0 loss at Exploria Stadium.

What looked to be a boring 0-0 draw in the making turned on its head in the second half, with the Orlando Pride seeing two players sent off with straight red cards and a penalty helping the visiting Houston Dash leave Exploria Stadium with a 1-0 win. Julie King’s Pride debut ended with a red card and Marta saw the second. Rachel Daly provided the game’s only goal from the spot, although the Pride certainly had their opportunities.

Chioma Ubogagu will surely be lamenting her miss on a 1-v-1 opportunity set up by Marisa Viggiano in the first half, which could have seen the hosts ahead at the break. But the Pride weren’t sharp enough in the final third and it cost the team points, as well as what could have been a third consecutive home victory in an otherwise dismal 2019 NWSL season.

Despite the loss, the crowd was good and there was the usual excitement that a night at the game brings with it. We hope you enjoy these images from the Pride’s 1-0 loss to Houston.
