Hey there, Mane Landers. Yesterday was a pretty exciting day for Orlando City fans from all over. In case you missed something, let’s get right to the links.

Robin Jansson Signs with OCSC

The rumors were finally confirmed as we learned that Orlando City signed Swedish defender Robin Jansson. Our very own Michael Citro has the full story here. Fans on social media seem to be excited to have his experience joining an often shaky back line. In one comment that actually made me laugh at work, a user stated, “He looks like he’d knock you out with one punch. Exactly what I want out of a CB.” Fans of the defender from Sweden were quick to jump to the OCSC Instagram and share how lucky they feel we are to have signed him. One user noted, “Orlando have no idea what a legend he is back in Sweden.” What are your thoughts on the latest signing?

Lions Called Up for National Team Duty

As nations begin finalizing their rosters for the upcoming friendlies, we’re seeing some of our Lions called up to play for the occasion. Haiti-Tempo tweeted that one of our newest Lions, Benji Michel, was called up, although it’s been reported that he may turn down the call. Then we saw Canada Soccer report that Will Johnson had also been called up for his country. Last (for today anyway) but certainly not least, FEF Ecuador shared a video of their lineup, which features Sebas Méndez. Could we see Méndez play in his home stadium against the USMNT? Are you attending the friendly? I’ll be there for sure.

Orlando SeaWolves Faith and Family Night

This Saturday, the Orlando SeaWolves will host the Kansas City Commets at 7:05 p.m. As part of “Faith & Family Night,” the first 1,000 fans in will receive a rally towel, sponsored by their neighbors, Johnson University. Tickets are only $15, so if after the OCSC match you haven’t had enough soccer, head over to support the SeaWolves.

USMNT Roster Named for Upcoming Friendlies

Gregg Berhalter has put together his squad and we’ll see Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and Tyler Adams as part of the team’s 24 players. This is the second roster put together by Berhalter. His first camp in January consisted of only domestic players. This time around, we’ll see nine coming from playing abroad, and 15 coming from MLS. The team’s average age? 25 years old.

Free Kicks

That’ll do it for me today. I’ll just be over here longing for spring break. How many days? Three? Oh, it really feels like 30. See you at the match Saturday!
