Orlando City vs. New England Revolution: Photo Gallery

An album of images from the Lions’ 6-2 victory against New England in the Orlando City Invitational.

It was a night of firsts for Orlando City. Nani was introduced to the fans for the first time. The Lions won their first trophy in their MLS era. Supporters got to see a plethora of new players for the first time.

And the night was all capped off with a 6-2 victory over the New England Revolution. Five different Lions scored in the destruction, and really no one for Orlando had a poor game. Sure there are plenty of things to continue to work on and to prove before the season opener, but this was a night to remember.

The attack and possession looked quite good for the second consecutive game. After New England had an early spell of attacking possession, the Lions grew into the game and eventually pressed wave after wave of dangerous attack at the Revolution’s defense. The midfield linked up well with both the line in front and the one behind, and a makeshift back line that had never played together limited the chances of the Revs’ dangerous starting trio of Cristian Penilla, Teal Bunbury, and Diego Fagundez.

Here are some pictures of what occurred:
