Orlando Pride vs. North Carolina Courage: Photo Gallery

An album of images from the Pride’s 3-0 loss at Orlando City Stadium.

Dan MacDonald, The Mane Land

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon in Orlando when the Courage came to town and the mood matched that weather after North Carolina left with a 3-0 win over the Pride. It was a four-minute barrage that saw the Courage score three times and the Pride could never quite get the offense on track, with two second-half efforts hitting the woodwork.

The first-place Courage controlled the first half by controlling the midfield. Tom Sermanni made some tactical changes at the break, bringing on Dani Weatherholt, which gave the Pride more of the game, but if North Carolina bent a few times, it never broke.

The Pride may have lost consecutive home matches, but there’s a lot of season left and no team in the NWSL has won a home game against the Courage yet in 2018. Hopefully Orlando can regroup against the Washington Spirit.

We hope you enjoy these images from yesterday’s match.
