Orlando Pride vs. Houston Dash: Photo Gallery

An album of images from the Pride’s 2-1 home loss to Houston.

The Orlando Pride jumped all over the Houston Dash at the start of last night’s match but could only put one shot behind Jane Campbell. That ended up being their undoing as the Dash fought back for a 2-1 win on a goal scored almost by accident on a cross, followed by a penalty kick minutes later.

Alex Morgan found the score sheet but also missed a crucial early penalty off the left post as Tom Sermanni’s squad was wasteful with its chances and Houston grew into the game after making a tactical move with Clare Polkinghorne’s positioning. The Pride were left feeling they should have gotten more from the match and put it to bed early, but sometimes soccer just doesn’t go that way.

That makes this Saturday’s showdown with the North Carolina Courage all the more important.

We hope you enjoy these images from the match.
