The Lions made it six wins on the bounce with yet another comeback, turning an early 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 victory against Real Salt Lake Sunday evening. The visitors had opportunities to build on their lead but Joe Bendik and his woodwork held that deficit to a single goal and eventually Orlando City’s near misses started going in.
Dom Dwyer keeps on scoring, Lamine Sané opened his Orlando City account, and Yoshimar Yotún not only set up the defender’s first MLS score but also added one of his own to seal the win. Sacha Kljestan has either scored a goal or assisted on one for six consecutive matches. Cristian Higuita is recovering the ball and helping Orlando keep possession. And even though the fifth different center back pairing of the season wasn’t perfect, it did enough to hold the visitors to one goal and for once set pieces weren’t a constant source of fear.
We hope these images do justice to another night of celebration at Orlando City Stadium and that you enjoy them.
