Orlando City vs. Seattle Sounders: Photo Gallery

An album of images from the Lions’ 2-1 home loss to Seattle.

Dan MacDonald, The Mane Land

Orlando City has been in a death crawl toward the end of the season for months and entered last night’s game without so much as scoring a goal in the last five games. The Lions did manage to get on the scoreboard last night in a 2-1 loss to Seattle, but a slow start to the match gave the team an uphill climb. The team made a valiant effort to scale that mountain but couldn’t find an equalizer.

Dom Dwyer’s 13th goal of the season snapped his four-game streak without scoring and gave him 17 since joining the team last season, throwing the Lions a lifeline. Sacha Kljestan’s give-and-go with Josué Colmán was Orlando’s best opportunity to draw level and take something from the game, but it was simply not to be.

We hope you enjoy the images captured from City’s penultimate home match of the season. It wasn’t the result we wanted but that’s (sadly) nothing new this season.
