Orlando City Releases 2018 Preseason Schedule: All Five Matches are Closed to Public

You’ll have to wait until March 3 to cheer on the Lions.

Orlando City has released its preseason schedule ahead of the club’s fourth MLS season, which starts March 3 vs. D.C. United at Orlando City Stadium. The Lions will report to camp on Monday, Jan. 22 for their first training session.

The team will hold three training sessions in Orlando before heading north to Jacksonville again this year for team bonding and training sessions at David Park. The Lions will play five closed-door preseason matches starting with the first on Saturday, Feb. 3 against Jacksonville University. Orlando City will then take on four MLS sides: Minnesota United, Philadelphia Union, Real Salt Lake, and Chicago Fire. The first three of those will take place at the club’s training facility at Sylvan Lake Park, with the final preseason test held at Orlando City Stadium on Feb. 24.

The club will also hold its annual Media Day on a to-be-determined date.
