MLS: Orlando City SC at D.C. United Patrick McDermott-USA TODAY Sports

Boom! Out of nowhere, while everyone was preparing for a hurricane, Orlando City went and won a game. It’s been a long time since we’ve spoken about a victory so let’s enjoy this feeling. We’re also breaking down the Orlando Pride’s near-miss with clinching the playoffs against the Seattle Reign, and the end of OCB’s 12-game run against...Richmond? Huh. Go figure.

Getting back to that whole hurricane thing, we asked Jacklyne Ramos from Orlando City SC’s communications department how the club handled the lead-up to the storm’s arrival, how the facilities handled the weather, and more.

And there’s plenty of discussion about the Lions’ trip to Atlanta this Saturday, Pride players involved in international friendlies, and assorted other random topics.

Here’s the way No. 103 settled in:

0:12- It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to talk about an Orlando City winning so forgive us if we spend a little more time on the game recap this week. Plus, Pride-Reign and OCB-Richmond Kickers.

47:20- Jacky Ramos joins us and lets us know how the club made some of its pre-hurricane decisions, how everyone is doing, the post-Irma happenings and her job in the OCSC communications department.

1:06:29- We talk a bit about the women’s international break before busting open the PawedCast mailbag and giving you our key match-ups and predictions for Saturday.
