Orlando City vs. New York City FC: Photo Gallery

An album of images from a tough night against the Sky Blues in Orlando’s first home loss in its new home.

The first home loss at Orlando City Stadium had to happen some time. It took nearly two months before an MLS team could leave the Lions’ fortress with all three points and it was New York City FC that did it, winning 3-0 on Sunday night. It was an unfortunate start for the Lions, who conceded a penalty just minutes into the match and saw the visitors double their lead before the break.

Orlando got a lifeline with a penalty of its own early in the second half but Cyle Larin crushed it off the right post and eventually David Villa slipped behind the defense to add insurance.

Still, while the result wasn’t a happy one, a night out at the stadium supporting the team is always worthwhile, and the images we took away are worth examining. We hope you enjoy these images much more than you enjoyed the final result.
