Orlando City vs. Sporting Kansas City: Photo Gallery

An album of images from the Lions’ 2-2 draw against SKC at Orlando City Stadium.

In what was the most back-and-forth game held so far at Orlando City Stadium, the Lions actually trailed for the first time at home in 2017. But that only lasted about seven minutes. Orlando bounced back from an early goal with scores by Cyle Larin and Kaká and took a lead deep into the second half before seeing the visitors level things up.

Just two minutes later, Orlando appeared to have restored order with a goal off the head of Uruguayan center back Jose Aja, but it was waved off on a corner kick that was ruled to have crossed the end line. That’s a tough way to lose your first MLS goal. In the end, a point isn’t bad against one of the better teams in the Western Conference so far this season, and the Lions still have not been conquered at home.

Orlando City has a busy week ahead with a trip to San Jose and a home match against New York City FC on tap next weekend. In the meantime, please enjoy this collection of images from an exciting night against SKC with USMNT coach Bruce Arena on hand to watch.
