Orlando City is off to a great start, which continued yesterday against the LA Galaxy. The Lions were all over the Galaxy in the first half and were unlucky not to take a multi-goal lead after hitting the goal frame a few times and having several other good chances blocked tantalizingly close to the goal line. Orlando took the lead, only to see the Galaxy equalize late. But the resilient Lions weren't done, and a moment of magic from Cyle Larin in stoppage time sealed all three points for the home team.
With a four-for-four start in Orlando City Stadium, the Lions are a talking point around the league. The new building provides aid and comfort to the home team and visitors have found goals and points extremely hard to come by. It's the fortress the club hoped for when it was conceived, designed, and eventually built in the Parramore neighborhood.
Will Johnson, Jonathan Spector, Joe Bendik, Scott Sutter, Donny Toia...the list goes on. It was a true team effort from the Lions in an exciting and dramatic victory over the Galaxy. We hope that these images capture at least some of the magic and atmosphere from Saturday's win.
