Orlando City vs. Jacksonville Armada 2016 U.S. Open Cup: Photo Gallery

Images from the Lions' 1-0 win against the Jacksonville Armada in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup.

Orlando City came back from a 17-day hiatus to play its first match in the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, taking on the NASL's Jacksonville Armada. The match also comes on the heels of the tragic Pulse nightclub shooting this past weekend and emotions were running high, with both sides showing support for the victims of the tragedy.

In fact, fans stood and applauded in tribute to the victims in the game's 49th minute -- symbolic of the 49 lives lost in the attack. It was an emotional moment and a great show of solidarity between the fans from the two cities.

Center back David Mateos scored the lone goal for the Lions in the 62nd minute, off of a corner from Antonio Nocerino and a flicked-on header from Julio Baptista. Orlando played with a mix of veterans and backups, as well as a few Orlando City B players mixed in.

With the win, Orlando now awaits the draw for the fifth round of the tournament, which will come later today.

This gallery captures the match, the signs of support before the game, and all the action up to the final whistle. We hope you enjoy these images.
