After a week hiatus, Orlando City B continued its six-game homestand, beating the defending champion Rochester Rhinos, 2-1. MLS loanee Hadji Barry supplied the brace for OCB, which boosted the Lions to a 3-5-2 (11 points) record on the year. The win also moves the team up to ninth in the Eastern Conference.
While there's still a long way to go in the 2016 USL season, performances like last night's will go a long way toward helping the OCSC reserves move up the table. It was probably the best overall team performance of the season for Anthony Pulis' team. The Lions were able to create chances, maintain possession, and break up Rochester attacks before they got into dangerous spots. The only blemish on the night was a late penalty allowed off a defensive end turnover.
The Mane Land was there to bring you all the action. We hope you enjoy these photos from the team's third win on the year.
