Orlando City stopped its six-game slide last night with a dramatic 2-1 home victory over the Montreal Impact at Camping World Stadium, getting a pair of goals from Canadian whiz kid Cyle Larin. It was a satisfying win because the Lions got better as the game wore on an seemed to be knocking on the door throughout the second half, looking for the go-ahead goal. Meanwhile, the Impact sprung a few counters to try to find their own winning goal, but Lions goalkeeper Joe Bendik came up big when he had to, as he has all season long.
The victory took place in front of another big home crowd for Orlando, with the lower bowl and plaza level packed with more than 34,000 purple-clad fans, who got to go home happy thanks to Larin's late winner.
The Mane Land was there to bring you all the action, including these images, which bring you the color and excitement of the match from the opening ceremonies to some clown running onto the pitch after the match to meet Kaká. We hope you enjoy these photos from Orlando City's much-needed win.
