While it certainly wasn't the outcome Orlando City fans wanted, especially after Kevin Molino's 92nd-minute goal snapped a 1-1 tie, the Lions showed a lot of fight in controlling play throughout the second half in a 2-2 draw with the New England Revolution. A late penalty call spoiled what could have been a much-needed win coming off last week's disappointing 2-1 loss in Philadelphia -- a match after which the Professional Referee Organization admitted that their man's wrongdoing allowed a goal that shouldn't have counted.
Nevertheless, you never turn down a point, and for now New England remains behind Orlando City in the table. The Lions generally lost these games a season ago, so it says something that we can be upset with a draw in Year 2.
Here are some of the sights from the Citrus Bowl, where the Lions played in front of a great Sunday afternoon crowd announced at 36,048 screaming purple-clad fans. We hope you enjoy these pictures from the match more than you enjoyed the final three minutes of stoppage time.
