USA vs. Germany in 2016 SheBelieves Cup: How to Watch, TV Info, Live Stream, Preview and More

The best in the world collide as the USWNT takes on Germany at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Fla. Can the U.S. follow up a victory over the Germans in the World Cup semifinals with another on home soil?

Welcome to your live thread for tonight's huge match-up between the United State's Women's National Team and Germany! This is essentially the championship match of the 2016 SheBelieves Cup, as both of these teams are sitting on top of the group with six points apiece.

To add to the drama in Boca Raton, these are the top two women's teams in the world and the game will be a rematch of last year's World Cup semifinal. The U.S. will face a German team looking to rebound not only from their loss to the Americans in Canada, but also from a poor showing overall in the tournament that saw them finish fourth.

The Germans have only given up one goal in the first two games of the tournament and will give the U.S. a harsh test in every part of the field. Last time out, the U.S. was out-played by France in the first half and the French should have gone into the break up a goal or two. The Yanks cannot afford to give the Germans the same chances or they will be punished for it.

In the attacking department, Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd have to have an impact on the game. Both were held in check for 90 minutes against France before Morgan broke through and got the winner for the Americans. From the start, the duo has to put its stamp on this game. Lloyd has been playing in a deeper role in the midfield as of late and her ability to put her foot on the ball and get the attack going for the U.S. in this match will be key. The U.S. will be under more pressure than it's used to, and if Lloyd is able to control tempo then it will be up to Morgan to keep the attack up and convert in the final third.

This is the biggest match the U.S. will have before the Olympics in August. A win against the second-best team in the world will work as a warning sign to the Olympic field that the U.S. is ready to win yet another gold. This game will be physical, close, and will have some of the best in the world on display. This is a game you are not going to want to miss.

Match Thread Rules:

This is your live thread for posting comments on the match. So use our comments section below to talk about the game in real time with our supporters. If you are new, welcome to our happy home! While you are here, please observe a few basic rules:

  • Absolutely no illegal streams, they can get us in trouble and nobody wants that.
  • Try not to be "that guy" who does nothing but spit venom at the team. Being critical is fine -- every team can be frustrating to watch sometimes -- but constantly being too negative can diminish the fun for others.
  • Keep it clean and fair when criticizing officials. You never know who might be reading.
  • Treat others in the match thread as you would like to treated in the thread. We are a fun community and would like to keep it that way. There is a moderator, but we'd rather let him enjoy the game instead of having to play babysitter.
  • Lastly, while we do not have any rules against profanity, do not abuse this non-rule. Any language that is sexist, racist or homophobic will be swiftly deleted and you may lose posting privileges. We are all in this together.

Enjoy the game. Go USA!
