Tally Hall up for Save of the Week, plenty of old friends meet up on Sunday, the USWNT has some matches called off and more in today's Lion Links!

Happy Dom Dwyer Week, Orlando City fans!

As many of you are aware, this Sunday is the homecoming of Orlando City USL favorite Dom Dwyer, as he returns to the Citrus Bowl with Sporting KC for the first time since his four-goal game in the 2013 USL Championship match. Adrian Heath was famously fined earlier this season for calling Orlando Dom's "spiritual home." It's sure to be a fun night.

For now, here are your Thursday morning Lion Links...

Tally Hall Up for Save of the Week

As you probably guessed, Orlando City's Tally Hall was nominated for MLS Save of the Week for his impressive kick save on New England's Chris Tierney. As impressive as that save was, and his many other saves in the match were, Chris Konopka gets my vote for his deflection on Obafemi Martin's blast (well, not actually, because I still voted for Tally, as you should too!).

Many Reunions All Around on Sunday

Aside from Dwyer, several other players will be meeting up with their old teams for the first time this weekend. For example, Aurelien Collin meets Sporting KC for the first time since being traded to Orlando this past winter. Amobi Okugo returns to Orlando and Servando Carrasco faces Sporting, after the two switched teams earlier this season.

United States-England Tournament In The Works?

Speaking at a soccer event in Manchester, England, MLS Commissioner Don Garber said that talks about a new tournament pitting MLS teams against their England counterparts have taken place.

"I would love to find a way that we could play our cup champion and our league champion against an FA Cup and league champion in a tournament and play it in New York City every year. If not every year, then every four years, because I know they have other places that they want to go to grow their brands."

Maybe one day, Don.

Pro/Rel "Not Happening In MLS"

It's back!

Speaking at the same Manchester conference, Garber told the crowd that promotion/relegation is "not happening in MLS any time soon," mentioning how well other sports leagues in the United States function without having a pro/rel system in place.

"A real league in whose eyes?" he said at the Soccerex convention in Manchester. "We are a real league now, with real business, our games live on TV and live around the world. The question is will it be the Premier League? I don't have the answer to that.

"We play in a country where the major leagues are really successful. There is no promotion and relegation in hockey and basketball and they work really well. It is not happening in MLS any time soon."

Australia Call Off Matches Vs. USWNT

The Australian Players' Union announced on Wednesday that a two-match series against the United States' Women's National Team has been called off due to on-going labor negations. The reigning Women's World Cup champions will now play Costa Rica instead.
