Lion Links: 6/26/15

In this Friday edition, we have a presidential thank you letter, Kaká shows his skills, Clint Dempsey suspension part 2, the "authenticated" Atlanta expansion club name, nearly full monty Ali Krieger, and Okugo with a Mane Lander!

Welcome to Friday's Lions Links. While it might seem like a light Friday so far away from the next OCSC match, we've managed to find a bit of awesome for you.

A Thank You from El Presidente!

Orlando City President Phil Rawlins, penned a thank you letter to the fans for showing up Wednesday, and all season. It's exactly what we've come to expect from the front office and, of course, from our incredible fan base. It's a quick read, but well worth it.

Kaká Doing...Well, What Kaká Does

Article/Video highlighting Ricardo's most excellent goal versus the Rapids. The goal put him into a tie for second on the MLS scoring list.

Dempsey Done Did It....

It seems that the Seattle Sounders will be without Clint Dempsey for six Open Cup games. The U.S. Open Cup Adjudication and Discipline Council put out the suspension. That means at least two years, and possibly more depending. I guess we now know that ripping up a ref's notebook will not only get you a red card, but quite a bit more.

So the ATL is United...and So Very "Authentic"

So it seems that opinion is divided on the new name for the Atlanta expansion club. I won't spoil it, so you can make up your own mind when you read it. Let's get plenty of comments for this article, and I'll let you know my impression in the comments.

Ali Krieger...ESPN Body Issue...Yeah...

I don't know that there's really anything to be said about this. USWNT defender Ali Krieger is in the next ESPN Magazine Body issue. Enjoy.

And Finally...

Our own Austin David spoke with Amobi Okugo about his days in Philly, what's different in Orlando, playing with the new young guys, and even about who he wants his Lakers to take in the NBA draft.
