On a hot, humid, rain-soaked night, Orlando City SC put together a complete game and finished just enough chances for a comfortable 2-0 win over Western Conference foe, Colorado Rapids in front of 23,372 rabid fans in purple. It was the second-largest Wednesday night crowd of the season in Major League Soccer, and the home fans were treated to heroics by Cyle Larin, Tally Hall, Kaká, Carlos Rivas and others.
Austin Warren was on hand to capture these colorful images from the match, which saw the Lions double Colorado up on shots, 20-10. The victory pushed Orlando's home unbeaten streak to six straight matches in all competitions, and Tally Hall earned his second consecutive home shutout, as the Citrus Bowl is starting to turn into a house of horrors for visiting MLS teams.
