The four goals by the Lions are the most in an MLS game so far for the club. In addition to scoring, City also kept its third clean sheet of the season despite the absence of central defender Aurelien Collin. Goalkeeper Tally Hall made his Orlando City debut and got his first win wearing the Lions' crest, being called upon to make only one save on the night.
Hall's wasn't the only debut. Striker Martin Paterson finally got into a game, subbing in for midfielder Brek Shea in the 83rd minute to get his first run out with his new team. Paterson had been sidelined with a hamstring issue since the preseason.
