Carlos Rivas appears to finally have arrived in Orlando...and he brought a friend.
Stay tuned tomorrow, as Orlando City SC might just have two Colombian signings to announce.
Social media can be the great spoiler, as it just might be here:

Carlos Rivas, long rumored as an Orlando City signing, and midfielder Cristian Higuita, his Deportivo Cali teammate in Colombia are shown in Orlando City jerseys. Both players are 20 and Higuita will turn 21 on Monday. Rivas, a player Orlando City's coaching staff believes can play striker in Adrian Heath's 4-2-3-1 formation, will turn 21 in April.
The Rivas rumor started in early December. This is the first we're hearing about Higuita.
In 29 league games this season, Rivas has 12 goals. The 5-foot-7, Jamundí, Colombia native has three career goals in 11 Domestic Cup matches and three goals in nine International Cup games. Rivas scored once in seven appearances with Deportivo Cali in 2013 and went scoreless in 10 games with Once Caldas in 2012.
I'm still digging for info on Huigita, who played for Colombia's U-20 squad for one match in the 2013 South American Youth Championship before being injured. Oh, and his dad Rene was an amazing goalie:
